Vision: Health and productive mothers that contribute to the economic growth and development in their local communities. Mission Statement: To be a prominent nonprofit organization contributor to the realization of Uganda's health vision, by developing capacities for promoting Reproductive Health with emphasis on maternal and child health. Founded in 2010, Action for Reproductive Health (ARH) is a new Uganda-based non-profit organization dedication t the improvement of reproductive and maternal health in rural Uganda. Taking an innovative approach, ARH seeks to actively involve men in addressing these important issues. ARH will work to strengthen and sustain the ability of Uganda's public and private health providers and health workers, as well as the local communities themselves, to meet the reproductive, maternal and child health needs of the country. By encouraging the participation or men in tackling issues of reproductive and maternal health, ARH aims to deliver significant changes in both the status of women's health and in public perceptions about reproductive health as a 'female issue'. As a Kampala-based non-profit organization, ARH was founded by a dedicated group of Africans living in Uganda and the United States. The founders of the organization are Francoise Riisa Kauzya, Kauzya John-Mary and Olive Sentumbwe Mugisa.
