Delco Development Names First Vice President of Sales and Revenue
Willingboro, NJ, January 27, 2015 – Delco Development, LLC announced last week that Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, Meghan Lafferty Goins, has been promoted to the new position of Vice President of Sales and Revenue.
As Delco Development’s first Vice President of Sales and Revenue, Goins will direct all areas of the Company’s Hotel Division sales, marketing and revenue efforts. Based on Goins’ outstanding resume and experience, Delco Development is confident in her ability to expand on these primary responsibilities as she also continues to lead the sales departments within each of the Company’s five New Jersey hotels.

A graduate of Arcadia University, Goins began her hospitality sales career with The Marriott Vacation Club at Seaview’s Fairway Villas. While employed there, she was honored with the Sapphire Award for over $1 Million in sales volume generated and was also recognized with the Outstanding Owner Service award.

From there, Goins worked with the opening team of Hilton’s Embassy Suites D.C. Convention Center property. A Sales Manager there, she established sales efforts and a client base for a new hotel that was part of the re-branding of Embassy Suites.

After two years in the D.C. market, the pull of New Jersey was too great and Goins returned to the Marriott’s Fairway Villas at Seaview, this time as a Sales Manager leading a team of at least twenty sales executives at any given time.
More recently, she was the Sales Manager at The Enterprise Center located on the Burlington County Community College Mt. Laurel Campus. While there, she was very involved with the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce as the Vice President of the Young Professionals Network and other committees.

A 2014 Burlington County Times 40 Under 40 Award recipient, Goins remains committed to her involvement in various Chamber’s of Commerce and volunteers her time on many committees both professionally and personally. She currently chairs the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce Hospitality Council and is an active member of the Salem County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee. She loves to spend time with her two children, but also enjoys running and a good book.

“I am beyond excited for this role,” said Goins, “With the teams we have in place, there is high anticipation, for outstanding successes in 2015 and years to come.”
